For those of you who are familiar with Maxïmo Park, this album is more of the great Brit-rock you’d expect from the guys that brought you ‘Apply Some Pressure’ and ‘Books from Boxes’.
For those who are new to the band… Maxïmo Park‘s 2014 release, Too Much Information‘s great sound and vibe will pick up any bad day as they give a little and give a little more from the first track.
There’s some great little synth gems scattered throughout this great album that reminded me a little of Depeche Mode, check out ‘Leave This Island’ in the video below.
‘Lydia, The Ink Will Never Dry’ and ‘Give, Get, Take’ are some classic sounding Maxïmo Park tracks. This album is a sign that a band these days can still produce great stuff even by their fifth album.
